Our 5mm Premium Fibreboard Underlay is a high quality underlay suitable for both laminate and wood flooring.
Our 5mm Premium Fibreboard Underlay is a high quality underlay suitable for both laminate and wood flooring.
Made of compressed wood fibres, this 5mm thick underlay is impact resistant, and highly durable. Each pack contains 10 square metres, with 20 individual boards at 590mm x 850mm.
This underlay has thermal and sound insulating properties, dampening foot steps and helping insulate your home! This underlay is not suitable for fitting over concrete. It is designed to be fitted over a wood sub-floor.
To fit simply lay the boards at a 45 degree angle from the angle your flooring will be fitted on top. This is to ensure the joins between the underlay and the flooring above don't overlap. Install your laminate or wood flooring directly over the top of this underlay.
